1:1 gives you the perfect opportunity to have specific coaching all to yourself. After an initial assessment, the skills covered will be tailored to suit you, whilst setting out to achieve your own personal goals.
Introduction to mountain biking
You will learn the basic skills needed to safely ride off-road including bike check and set up, correct body positioning, selecting the right gears and correct use of the brakes.
Here you can learn the fundamental bike handling and core skills needed to tackle more technical off-road trails with confidence including mountain bike setup, correct body positioning, cornering and descending safely and how to climb efficiently.
Improvers descending or climbing
This is for those looking to take their descending or climbing skills to the next level. Learn how to descend steeper, rougher or looser trails and with more speed. Learn how to climb steeper and rougher trails with roots and step ups.
Introduction to drop offs, manuals and wheelies
This is for those looking to tackle small obstacles in the trail so that you don’t have to get off and walk. Learn how to lift the front wheel and safely negotiate small step ups and drop offs.
All of the above skills coaching can be for women only. Come and start your journey into mountain biking or hone your skills in a testosterone free environment!
